BELLA CELLA WOMEN'S CUP PICKLEBALL TOURNAMENT
OFFICIAL TOURNAMENT REGULATIONS
1. PURPOSE AND SIGNIFICANCE
- Organize a women's-only pickleball tournament, providing a dynamic and professional sports arena.
- Promote the brands Bella Cella (cosmetics) and Miiracel (sports).
- Enhance the participant experience through event – lifestyle – networking elements, beyond just competition.
2. DATE, TIME & VENUE
2.1. Tournament Date
The tournament will take place over 1 (one) day:
Saturday, June 27, 2026
2.2. Venue
Pickleball Cobi Active Court – Cobi Home Long Hau
(Lot DV-4, Central Road, Long Hau Expanded Industrial Park, Can Giuoc District, Tay Ninh, Ho Chi Minh City)
2.3. Schedule
The tournament begins at 10:00 AM to optimize athlete performance and experience.
The tournament includes 2 categories with the following estimated time slots:
Level 4.5 Category:
- Estimated match time: 10:00 AM
- Check-in time: 09:30 AM
Newbie Category:
- Estimated match time: 10:00 AM
- Check-in time: 09:30 AM
The detailed match schedule will be officially updated and announced by the Organizing Committee before the tournament date.
3. PARTICIPANTS & COMPETITION CATEGORIES
3.1. Eligible Participants
- All athletes who share a passion for Pickleball in Vietnam, meet the physical requirements, and commit to complying with the Organizing Committee's regulations.
- Athletes with a spirit of exchange, learning, and spreading their passion.
- Athletes must meet the skill level requirements set by the Organizing Committee. Athletes who have won 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place in major tournaments are kindly requested not to register.
3.2. Competition Categories

- Athletes may freely choose their doubles partner.
- The combined skill level of both players in a pair must not exceed the limit specified for that category.
- Competition spirit: The Organizing Committee hopes all athletes compete to the best of their ability in the spirit of Fair-Play – exchange and learning above all medals.
Skill Level Regulations
- Athletes registering must commit to the correct skill level as specified in the tournament regulations.
- If an athlete intentionally registers at a lower level and performs above that level, the Organizing Committee reserves the right to stop the match with NO REFUND. The OC will closely monitor all matches.
- By registering and paying the entry fee, athletes agree to and must comply with all tournament regulations.
- Athletes who have previously competed professionally, or are currently/previously involved in coaching racket sports such as Tennis, Badminton, Table Tennis, etc., are not eligible to register for the Newbie category.
- Before confirming registration, the Organizing Committee has full authority to internally assess an athlete's skill level and may decline registration if the athlete is deemed to exceed the specified level.
Skill Level Classification:
- For all categories, athletes registered with DUPR or PVNA will be assessed according to their DUPR/PVNA rating.
- Athletes not registered with DUPR/PVNA will be assessed based on their results in previous tournaments.
- For athletes registered with DUPR: the DUPR rating level will apply.
- For athletes NOT registered with DUPR: they must not have achieved a podium finish at any national-level or higher tournament in any category within the past 2 years. (Additionally, former table tennis or tennis athletes are also not permitted to participate.)
- By registering and paying the entry fee, athletes agree to and must comply with all tournament regulations.
- Before confirming registration, the Organizing Committee has full authority to internally assess an athlete's skill level; if deemed to exceed the specified level, registration may be refused.
(Please register your skill level as honestly as possible.)
4. PROTEST CONDITIONS REGARDING REGULATION VIOLATIONS
To ensure fairness and a comfortable competition environment for all athletes, the Organizing Committee applies the following regulations:
- The OC encourages athletes to register at the correct skill level and choose a suitable partner from the start to ensure overall competition quality.
- In the event of suspected improper level registration: if 3 teams in the same group (of 4 teams) file a complaint, and after careful verification by the Organizing Committee and operations team, the athlete(s) may be disqualified from the tournament.
- Complaints must be accompanied by relevant information or evidence (previous competition results, photos, tournament information, etc.).
- The OC will verify with the Referee Panel and issue a final decision based on the published regulations, to ensure fairness for all participating athletes.
The Organizing Committee hopes all athletes cooperate to ensure the tournament proceeds in a civilized, enjoyable, and sportsmanlike manner.
5. REGISTRATION DEADLINE, FEES & PAYMENT
5.1. Registration Deadline
By 11:59 PM on June 25, 2026, or registration will close early once the maximum number of spots per category is reached. Athletes are encouraged to register early.

* Entry fees are non-refundable after the competition list has been confirmed, except in cases of force majeure.
* Shuttle service available to the competition venue (the shuttle will depart from District 7; specific pickup location to be announced).
* Domestic return airfare support for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams (receipt required).
5.3. Registration Method
- Athletes may register via 2 methods: through the attached Google Drive link, or directly through the Organizing Committee's Zalo: 0775.661.301 (Miiracer Sports).
- When registering, athletes must provide all required information as requested by the Organizing Committee.
5.4. Team Registration & Partner Pairing
- Athletes may choose their own partner and register as a team.
- Individual athletes registering alone must find their own partner.
- If a solo registrant cannot find a partner close to the registration deadline, the Organizing Committee will notify in advance and cancel the solo registration.
5.5. Payment Method & Bank Details

7. COMPETITION FORMAT
7.1. Rules Applied
Rules are applied according to the pickleball regulations under Decision No. 494/QD-TDTT dated 26/05/2025 issued by the Vietnam Sports Administration.
All matches will be officiated by referees or supervisors appointed by the Organizing Committee. The chief referee's decision is final.
For all categories, athletes registered with DUPR will be assessed by their DUPR level. For those not registered with DUPR, previous tournament results will be considered; during the tournament day, if 3 or more teams in the same group file complaints, the OC will investigate and may disqualify the athlete(s).
(Please register at your correct level honestly and conscientiously.)
7.2. Tournament Progression
Group Stage ➔ Knockout Rounds (Round of 16, Quarterfinals) ➔ Semifinals ➔ 3rd Place Match ➔ Final
Group Stage:
- Groups are divided based on the number of registered teams. The top 2 teams from each group advance to the knockout rounds.
Group stage ranking criteria:
- Points
- Point differential (points scored minus points conceded; calculated across all group stage matches)
- Head-to-head result
- Draw / Lot
7.3. Scoring Format
7.3.1. Phase 1: Group Stage ➔ Round of 16 ➔ Quarterfinals
- 1 (one) game to 11 points.
- Switch sides when one team reaches 6 points.
- No "Win by 2" rule applies. The first team to reach 11 points wins (Sudden Death).
7.3.2. Phase 2: Semifinals ➔ 3rd Place Match
- 1 (one) game to 15 points.
- Switch sides when one team reaches 6 points.
- No "Win by 2" rule applies.
- Score cap: maximum 15 points (first team to reach 15 wins, no 2-point margin needed).
- 3rd place match: to 11 points, no "Win by 2" rule.
7.3.3. Phase 3: Final
- 1 (one) game to 15 points.
- Switch sides when one team reaches 8 points.
- "Win by 2" rule applies.
- Score cap: maximum 21 points (first team to reach 21 wins, no 2-point margin needed).
7.4. Timeout Regulations
- Group Stage – Quarterfinals: Each team is allowed 1 timeout (60 seconds) per match.
- Semifinals – Final: Each team is allowed 1 timeout (60 seconds) per match.
- Side switch time (if applicable): Maximum 1 minute.
7.5. Breaks & Timeouts
7.5.1. Group Stage – Quarterfinals:
- Each team is allowed 60-second timeouts.
7.5.2. Semifinals – Final:
- Maximum 2-minute break between games.
- Each team is allowed 1 timeout (60 seconds) per game.
- Side switch during a game (if applicable): maximum 1-minute break.
7.6. Medical Timeout
- During a match, if an athlete sustains a sudden injury, they are allowed 1 medical timeout of up to 5 minutes.
- If the athlete cannot resume after 5 minutes, the referee will award the win to the opposing team.
8. GENERAL REGULATIONS
- Athletes must wear appropriate attire that does not match the color of the ball (neon yellow, neon green, etc.), must comply with social norms, and must not display offensive images or text, violate the law, or infringe upon the honor, dignity, or reputation of others or the Organizing Committee.
- By registering, athletes consent to the Organizing Committee and Sponsors using their personal images for tournament-related media activities.
- All participating athletes must comply with the regulations issued by the Referee Panel and Organizing Committee. They must compete with a sportsmanlike and civilized spirit. Any unsportsmanlike conduct affecting the tournament will result in immediate disqualification.
- All athletes are responsible for their own health throughout the tournament. Athletes with pre-existing medical conditions must inform the Organizing Committee before the tournament.
- Athletes must strictly observe the match schedule as stipulated by the Organizing Committee.
- If an athlete pair needs to change before their first match due to injury or force majeure, the OC will consider an update. Once the tournament has started, no athlete substitutions will be accepted.
- During matches, the on-court referee's decision is final. The OC will not review ball-in-play situations via camera or livestream.
9. OTHER REGULATIONS
- Court Culture: Promote the spirit of "Fair-Play" – Solidarity – Friendship.
- Punctuality (No-Show): Athletes are responsible for arriving at the court on time. If an athlete is absent 5 minutes after being called by the referee (called twice), they will be considered to have forfeited and the score will be recorded as 11–9 against them.
- OC Authority: The Organizing Committee has full authority to amend and supplement the regulations to suit actual conditions, and will notify athletes immediately. All decisions made by the OC throughout the tournament are final.
10. ORGANIZING COMMITTEE & CONTACT
The Organizing Committee includes: Brand Representatives, Referee Panel, Secretary, Medical Staff, and Logistics. The OC is responsible for organizing the entire tournament in accordance with the regulations.
